High-speed camera to timeline options
CWS30 provides quick and efficient data transfer from camera to Rextor's bin window for immediate editing. Canopus, in conjunction with Sony has developed direct support for the Sony DSR-DU1 (Disc Unit camera back). Once video acquisition is complete, editors can hot-connect the DSR-DU1 and directly edit the footage. Alternatively, quickly free up the Sony DSR-DU1 unit by transferring the video data to a Canopus CWSMP300 external storage device. Combine a Canopus CWSMP300 external drive unit to the DSR-DU1 to transfer the video data at 3x speed. CWS30 supports realtime editing and realtime DV output using the CWSMP300 external storage device.
